Program, Finance, and Administration Committee

PFAC is responsible for overseeing NYMTC’s day‐to‐day operations, as well as holding public meetings to solicit public input and take action on NYMTC business as delegated by the Council. PFAC meetings are held every two months, unless otherwise required.

Representing the Council

PFAC representatives are designated by the Council members to act on their behalf on a variety of issues, as detailed in NYMTC's Compendium of Operations.


PFAC members take action via resolutions to advance NYMTC's regional planning activities, including amendments to the Regional Transportation Plan (the Plan), Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP).
