City of Yes – Creating Opportunities for Housing, Small Business and Sustainability
Join us on Sept. 26th at noon when the New York City Department of City Planning (NYCDCP) will present: City of Yes – Creating Opportunities for Housing, Small Business and Sustainability. For the past two years, the NYCDCP has been modernizing and updating the city’s zoning regulations through proposals to support small businesses, create affordable housing, and promote sustainability. It’s all part of the city’s vision for a more inclusive, equitable “City of Yes.” This presentation will discuss some of the major changes that have been approved and those that are still in public review, and will be given by Frank Ruchala Jr., Zoning Director at the NYCDCP. Mr. Ruchala has overseen implementation of the zoning changes in the City of Yes effort and previously led the updates to the Zoning Resolution to promote affordable housing, coastal resiliency, and transit accessibility.
