The New York Transit Museum turns 50 this year! Join NYMTC for an informative Brown Bag session on how the Museum has captured New York's transportation history and culture over the past five decades. Polly Desjarlais, Content and Research Manager for the New York Transit Museum, will present the museum's history: from its humble start in a decommissioned 1936 Brooklyn subway station to its current status as the largest museum in North America dedicated to mass transit and a beloved cultural institution.
