Dear NYMTC Stakeholders, Transportation Planners, Community Advocacy Groups, and the Interested Public,

Beginning September 15, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are conducting the quadrennial Federal Certification Review of the transportation planning process in the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) planning area.

As part of the Certification Review process, FHWA and FTA are gathering comments from the public and other stakeholders on successes of the planning process, as well as opportunities for improvement. Please respond to the questions provided in the survey link below. Comments to the survey will be accepted until October 31, 2026.
