The Program, Finance and Administration Committee adopted forecasts for population and employment within the 31-county region on February 19, 2009. The 2035 SED Forecasts were used in the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan.

The 2035 SED forecasts describe models, data inputs and forecasts for:

  • Employment by NAICS supersector (total employment, payroll by industry, proprietors)
  • Population (total population, household population, group quarters population, enrollment ages)
  • Labor Force (total civilian, employed residents); and
  • Households (total households, average household size, income).
