Welcome to the interim NYMTC Census & American Community Survey (ACS) data query tool.
This web query tool uses the U.S Census Bureau’s Census 2000 data and American Community Survey (ACS) data from 2005 to the present. As the metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for New York City, Long Island, and the lower Hudson Valley, NYMTC has prepared these data tables for easy use for research and planning purposes.
Currently, two transportation-related variables are available using our web query tool, travel mode and travel time for commuters. These variables are available aggregated either by residence location or by workplace location. Data tables can be produced by location or by year.
NYMTC is planning to provide more Census and ACS data such as demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics with easier and more efficient way in the future.
Data tables by location are provided for each of the 10 NYMTC counties or by aggregated larger subregions as listed below.
