Location Su035 is the intersection of Long Island Avenue and Straight Path in Wyandanch. It is a four-legged signalized intersection. Straight Path is a two-way north-south roadway with one shared lane, one right turn lane, and one left turn bay on the north leg of the intersection, as shown in Figure Su05-035-1; and one right turn lane and one through lane on the south leg of the intersection, as shown in Figure Su05-035-2. Long Island Avenue is a two-way east-west roadway with one right turn lane, one through lane, and one left turn bay on the east leg of the intersection, as shown in Figures Su05-035-3; and one right turn lane and one through lane on the west leg of the intersection, as shown in Figure Su05-035-4. Sidewalks are provided on both sides of both roadways and can be seen in Figures Su05-035-1 through -4. |
