Location Su033 is the intersection of Spur Drive North and Carleton Avenue in Bay Shore, a four-legged signalized intersection. Carleton Avenue is a two-way north-south roadway with one right turn lane, one through lane, and one left turn lane on the north leg of the intersection, as shown in Figure Su05-033-2; and one channelized right turn lane, two through lanes, and a left turn bay on the south leg of the intersection, as shown in Figure Su05-033-1. Sidewalks are provided on both sides of the intersection, as shown in Figures Su05-033-1 and Su05-033-2. Spur Drive has one shared lane and one left turn bay in each direction, as shown in Figures Su05-033-3 and -4. Spur Drive North has a sidewalk on its north side. |
