Location Su019 is the intersection of Woods Lane (NY-27), Main Street (NY-27), and Ocean Avenue, in East Hampton (Figures Su04-019-1 through -4). This is a T-intersection controlled by a traffic signal. The east leg is Woods Lane, the north leg is Main Street, and the south leg is Ocean Avenue. Bike route signs direct users along Woods Lane and east past the intersection through a small grass strip to reach James Lane, as shown in Figure Su04-019-1. Woods Lane has two eastbound approach lanes and one westbound travel lane. Main Street has two southbound approach lanes and one northbound travel lane. Ocean Avenue has one travel lane in each direction. |
