Location Su018 is the intersection of NY-25, 6th Street, and 6th Avenue, in Greenport, as shown in Figures Su04-018-1 through -4. This four-way intersection is stop-controlled on the 6th Street and 6th Avenue approaches. NY-25 is aligned east-west with one shared lane in each direction, plus a sidewalk and shoulder in each direction. 6th Street is aligned north-south with one lane in each direction, and intersects NY-25 as the southern leg. 6th Avenue is aligned north-south with one lane in each direction and intersects NY-25 as the northern leg. 6th Street has sidewalks on both sides of the roadway, and 6th Avenue has a sidewalk on the west side of the roadway only. |
