Locations Su016, the traffic circle at the NY-24/Peconic Avenue intersection, in Riverhead, is shown in Figures Su04-016-1 through -5. This intersection is a five-leg traffic circle with each leg operating under yield-control. All roadways have one travel lane in each direction. NY-24 is aligned east-west and forms the east and west legs of the traffic circle. Peconic Avenue is aligned north-south and forms the north leg of the circle. East Riverhead Moriches Road forms the southwest leg of the circle, and Riverhead Road forms the southeast-leg circle. |
