Heckscher State Parkway Bicycle Path at Main Loop

Location Su009 is the multi-use path at Heckscher State Park, as shown in Figures Su04-009-1 through -5. The multi-use path is aligned north-south and terminates at the north side of the park’s main loop, approximately 500 feet east of the entrance. The path has a solid yellow line to delineate directional flows and is controlled by a stop-sign at the intersection, as shown in Figures Su04-009-1 and -2. Bike route signs direct riders traveling south on the path to turn right at the intersection and travel west on the main loop, as shown in Figure Su-009-1. Bike route signs direct riders traveling west on the main loop to turn right and travel north on the path, as shown in Figure Su04-009-4. |
