Bayonne Bridge

Location S008 is at the pedestrian path on the Bayonne Bridge, as shown in Figures S04-008-1 through -4. Posted signs on the path to the Bayonne Bridge indicate that pedestrians and riders are not allowed to cross, and will be prosecuted if they do so. These signs can be seen in Figures S04-008-2 and S04-008-3. The 2004 NYC bike map shows the Bayonne Bridge as a greenway. An average of six users per hour on the weekday, and four per hour on the weekend used the path. |
