as shown in Figures S03-001-1 thruu-4.
At this location there
are two paths. One is for pedestrians and the other, which is further
inland, is a shared roadway used by both riders and vehicular traffic.
The pedestrian path can be seen in Figures S04-001-1 and S04-001-2. The
shared roadway has a single lane in each direction and has stop signs at
each entrance for the parking lots that are located along the roadway.
The shared roadway can be seen in Figures S04-001-3 and S04-001-4.
Figure S04-001-5 shows the pavement markings that appear on the road.
Figures S04-001-6 through S04-001-9 show the posted signs along the
path. The marked path ends at the Staten
Island Ferry Terminal providing easy access for Staten Islanders living
on its north shore to ride to the ferry with their bicycles and go to
Manhattan. |
