Staff Street and Riverside Drive

Location M053 is at Staff Street and Riverside Drive, as shown in Figures M04-053-1 through -6. Staff Street runs north-south and intersects Riverside Drive to form a T-intersection. Staff Street is controlled by a stop sign. Riverside Drive is controlled by a stop sign when bearing left for Henry Hudson Parkway North, as shown in Figure M04-053-3. This study location is where the Hudson River off-street multi-use path terminates. On the northern sidewalk of the ramp to Southbound Henry Hudson Parkway there are posted signs directing users. The signs direct bicyclists to continue on to Staff Street and travel north. Pedestrians are prompted to travel east along Riverside Drive. The posted signs can be viewed in Figure M04-053-1. There is a bike lane on the east side of Staff Street for riders, and a sidewalk on the north side of Riverside Drive. |
