1st Avenue and 120th Street

Location M010 is a marked bicycle lane 1st Avenue and 120th Street, as shown in Figures M04-010-1 through -4. It is a four way intersection controlled by a traffic signal. 1st Avenue has four northbound travel lanes. It has a sidewalk on both sides and a bike lane on its western side as shown in Figures M04-010-1, -2, and -3. 120th Street has two eastbound travel lanes with a mall in between them. There is also a sidewalk on both sides and a bike lane on the south side. Cars are frequently seen standing in the bike lane ( Figures M03-010-1 and M0310-2). |
