Manhattan - M003

Location M003 is at Hudson River at 72nd Street. There were improvements made at the location after the 2002 counts and before the 2003 counts were taken. These improvements include new paving stones, plantings, signs, benches, refreshment stands and other recreational facilities. Figures M03-003-1 and -2 show views looking north and south, respectively, at 72nd Street, the busiest study location on the path. This path is not marked to delineate usage. Figures M03-003-3 and -4 show the underpass traversing the Henry Hudson Parkway and the trail leading from the underpass to the path, respectively.
