The September 11th Memorial Program for Regional Transportation Planning honors three New York Metropolitan Transportation Council employees who died in the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001: Ignatius Adanga, Charles Lesperance and See Wong Shum. The program provides assistance to students and planners for projects in both academic and public policy arenas as a way to educate and motivate those who are interested in transportation technology and planning.
